What is body contouring?

Body contouring refers to any procedure that improves the shape of your body by removing stubborn pockets of body fat that stick around despite diet and exercise. The good news is that you don’t need surgery to achieve exceptional body contouring.

Crystal uses a noninvasive medical device, the Thermi250® to effectively get rid of trouble spots anywhere on your body, including love handles, belly fat, and excess fat on your thighs, back, and upper arms.

How does the Thermi250® reduce body fat?

The Thermi250® uses radiofrequency (RF) energy, which safely passes through your skin to gently heat areas of resistant fat below the surface.

We control your treatment to ensure tissue and subcutaneous fat cells reach the temperature that makes them shrink. Your body naturally repairs the controlled damage with improved circulation and function and fat is temporarily eliminated.

Does the Thermi250® tighten skin and treat cellulite?

In addition to reducing pockets of fat, the Thermi250® makes existing collagen contract, which immediately tightens your skin and reduces the appearance of cellulite.

During your treatment, heat from the Thermi250® stimulates new collagen production. As your aged skin is replaced with new, collagen-rich skin, it’s tighter, less wrinkled and less saggy and more toned. The combination of fat shrinkage plus tightened skin diminishes the appearance of cellulite.

What happens during treatment?

When you come in for your first consultation, our trained staff answers your questions and talks with you about what happens during the procedure and the number of treatments you may need.

One session lasts about 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. The technician controls the heat produced by the Thermi250® to ensure your comfort. Some patients compare the treatment to having a hot stone massage.

Your skin may be red after your treatment, but that doesn’t last long and you don’t need any downtime.

Although you may see immediate improvement, it takes time to shrink the destroyed fat cells and produce new collagen. You’ll see optimal results in a few weeks.  A series of 3-4 treatments can be expected to have lasting results of 12 to 18 months.
